Voice2Journal is a personal journaling app that allows you to record voice notes and generate written entries using on-device transcription and AI text cleanup. We prioritize your privacy and design the app so that you remain in control of your data.
Information We Collect
All audio recordings are created and stored locally on your device. Your recordings remain under your direct control and are not uploaded to our servers.
When you request AI-assisted cleanup or summarization, the text of your journal entry (not the audio) may be securely sent to a third-party AI provider for processing. We do not store this text outside of your device.
How Your Data Is Used
Your recordings remain on your device unless you delete them. Transcribed text is processed locally when possible; only the cleaned-up text is returned to you. We do not sell, share, or access your personal recordings or journal entries.
Third-Party Services
Voice2Journal may integrate optional services such as Supabase (for user accounts), Sentry (for crash reporting), Firebase Analytics (for app usage analytics), and RevenueCat (for subscription management). These services only receive the minimum data required to operate the requested feature. Please review their respective privacy policies for more details.
Your Choices & Control
- You may delete any recording or journal entry at any time.
- You may request deletion of your account and all associated app data by contacting us at support@numinexstudio.com.
Children's Privacy
Voice2Journal is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly process data from children.
